By using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

Use of Website

This website must be used for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to interfere with the website’s operation.

 

Orders & Payments

All orders are arranged via direct enquiry (phone or text). No payments are processed through this website.

• Minimum order: 2 boards

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking

• Final balance due 4 days before the event

• Orders over £300 must be paid in full 7 days before the event

Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit is received.

 

Cancellations

Due to the perishable nature of our products:

• Deposits are non-refundable

• Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable in full

We reserve the right to cancel orders in exceptional circumstances (e.g. illness, emergencies), in which case a full refund will be issued.

Returns and Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns and refunds are not accepted once an order has been delivered and accepted. By accepting delivery, you confirm that the order is in satisfactory condition. Any issues must be reported immediately. 

 

Delivery

We deliver across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of London.

• Delivery is subject to availability

• Delivery charge: £0.50 per mile

• Safe and legal parking must be available at the delivery location

If parking is not available, additional charges may apply or delivery may not be possible.

 

Product Information & Substitutions

All of our charcuterie boards are unique and prepared with fresh and seasonal and ingredients. Items included on the boards may vary depending on availability, seasonality and supplier stock. We reserve the right to substitute items with similar products of equal quality and value

Set-Up Services

For larger events, a set-up fee may apply depending on:

• Event size

• Number of guests

• Staffing required

This will be agreed in advance.

 

Liability

Once delivery and/or set-up is completed, responsibility for the food passes to the customer.

We are not liable for:

• Food left unrefrigerated or consumed after a prolonged period

• Any adverse reactions to allergens

• Damage or loss after delivery

 

Intellectual Property

All content, images, and branding remain the property of The Curious Board and may not be used without permission.

 

Food Safety & Hygiene (UK Compliance)

We operate in accordance with UK food hygiene regulations and guidance set by the Food Standards Agency.

• Food is prepared in a registered food premises

• We follow Food Hygiene Regulations (England)

• Appropriate PPE (gloves, aprons) is used during preparation

• Surfaces and equipment are regularly cleaned and sanitised

Customers are advised to refrigerate products where appropriate and consume within recommended timeframes.

 

Allergen Information (Natasha’s Law Compliance)

We comply with UK allergen regulations, including Natasha’s Law, where applicable.

Our products may contain or come into contact with the following allergens:

• Cereals containing gluten

• Milk

• Nuts (peanuts and tree nuts)

• Sulphites

• Other allergens, depending on the ingredients used

Due to the nature of charcuterie boards:

• Multiple allergen-containing foods are handled in the same environment

• Cross-contamination cannot be fully avoided

If you have allergies or dietary requirements, you must inform us at the time of ordering.

We will provide allergen information upon request, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

We handle your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Important Notice

Our products are freshly prepared and intended for same-day consumption where possible. Proper storage and handling after delivery are the responsibility of the customer.
